SUMMARY

Shares of Waaree Energies settled 2.45% lower at ₹3,211.50 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Reliance Power stock ended 2.55% higher at ₹47.42 on the NSE.

Most renewable energy stocks settled in red on Friday, December 13. Shares of Waaree Energies, Adani Green Energy, ACME Solar and Premier Energes were down.

In contrast, NTPC Green Energy and Reliance Power closed in positive territory.

Shares of Waaree Energies settled 2.45% lower at ₹3,211.50 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

On Wednesday, the company bagged an order to develop a 170 MW Solar power project from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) in Madhya Pradesh.

"The solar power plant will enable the generation and transmission of clean energy via the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS). The project will supply renewable energy to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Ltd and Indian Railways thus contributing significantly to India’s renewable energy goals," the company said in an exchange filing.

Adani Green share price

Adani Green Energy stock settled at ₹1,198 a unit, down 1.64%, on the NSE. Its market capitalisation stood at ₹1,89,767.09 crore.

On Thursday, the company informed that its step-down subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five Ltd, has commissioned a 250 MW solar power project in Rajasthan.

With the commissioning of this power plant, Adani Green's total operational renewable generation capacity has surged to 11,434 MW.

Reliance Power share price

The stock ended 2.55% higher at ₹47.42 on the NSE.

On December 11, Reliance Power's unit Reliance NU Suntech won a 930 MW solar energy contract with a battery storage system from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) in an auction.

NTPC Green Energy share price

Shares of NTPC Green Energy closed at ₹143.96, up 0.40%, with a market capitalisation of ₹1,21,305.44 crore.

Earlier this week, the company's unit secured 2000 MW of ISTS-connected solar PV Power projects from the SECI auction.
