SUMMARY
Shares of NTPC Green Energy jumped 1.47% to ₹146.1 a unit on the NSE. Since listing, the stock has risen 35.2% from the issue price.
Waaree Energies stock was up 0.58% to ₹2,920 apiece on the NSE.
Most of the renewable energy stocks traded in the green on Monday. Shares of Waaree Energies, Premier Energies, NTPC Green Energy, ACME Solar and KPI Green Energy were up on December 9, while Adani Green Energy stock was trading in the negative territory.
On Friday, the company announced the incorporation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Australia, Waaree Renewable Energies Australia PTY Ltd.
On December 5, Waaree Energies bagged NABL accreditation for its cutting-edge PV Module Test Lab (PMTL) in Chikhli, Gujarat. This was the second NABL accreditation for Waaree after the Tumb manufacturing facility.
NTPC Green shares were listed at ₹111.5 apiece (a premium of 3.24%) from the issue price of ₹108. Since then, they have risen 35.2% from the issue price.
On November 25, the company's subsidiaries bagged orders worth ₹1,087 crore from two large independent power producers and one other customer.
Trading 0.49% or ₹4 higher at ₹823.5 per share, the stock hit an intraday high of 2.4%. The market capitalisation of the company stands at ₹17,123.98 crore, while the free float m-cap is ₹1,549.36 crore.
