Waaree Energies, NTPC Green, Premier Energies, Adani Green, ACME Solar: Here's how renewable energy stocks are performing on September 11

Shares of renewable energy companies like Waree Energies, NTPC Green Energy, Adani Green Energy, Premier Energies and ACME Solar Holdings were trading in the positive territory on Thursday, September 11.

Waaree Energies share price

On September 2, the company said that it has entered into a share subscription and shareholders agreement to acquire 64% of the share capital of advanced transformer solutions provider Kotson’s Private Limited for ₹192 crore.

NTPC Green share price

Shares of NTPC Green Energy were trading at ₹103 per unit, up 0.06%, on the NSE.

On September 5, the company had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VO Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA).

As per the MoU, NTPC Green, a subsidiary of NTPC, will establish a green hydrogen fuelling station in VOC Port along with hydrogen based Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) trucks for the VOC port operation.

"This will open an option of phasing out fossil fuel trucks in favour clean and green fuels bringing decarbonisation and energy security," the company said in an exchange filing.

Adani Green Energy share price

The company, through its various stepdown subsidiaries, on September 7 operationalised an aggregate 87.5 megawatt (MW) power projects at Khavda, Gujarat.

With the commissioning of these plants, Adani Green's total operational renewable generation capacity has climbed to 16,078 MW.

Premier Energies share price

In an exchange filing on September 1, the company informed that its subsidiaries – Premier Energies Photovoltaic Pvt Ltd, Premier Energies Global Environment Pvt Ltd and Premier Energies International Pvt Ltd – collectively received and accepted orders valued at ₹2,703 crore from both new and existing customers.
