Most renewable energy stocks traded in the green on Monday, March 24. Shares of Waaree Energies, NTPC Green Energy, Adani Green, and Premier Energies rose.
In contrast, ACME Solar Holdings shares are down.
On March 21, the company's wholly-owned step-down subsidiary Adani Green Energy Twenty Five Ltd commissioned solar power project of 250 megawatts (MW) at Badi Sid & Kalyan Ki Sid, Rajasthan.
"With the commissioning of this plant, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 13,091.1 MW. With this, AGEL and its Subsidiaries have cumulatively commissioned 1,000 MW capacity in the state of Rajasthan in the current financial year," the company said in an exchange filing.
Premier Energies shares are up 0.47% to ₹920 apiece on the NSE, with a market capitalisation of ₹41,471.24 crore.
ACME Solar Holdings shares are down 0.43% to ₹201.40 per share on the NSE.
KPI Green Energy stock advanced 2.65% to ₹440.3 per unit on the NSE.
On March 20, the company's subsidiary Sun Drops Energia Pvt Ltd was awarded Letters of Award for the development of 14.90 MW solar power projects.
"The projects are tentatively scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2025-26, in various tranches as per the terms of the orders," the firm said.
Meanwhile, equity benchmark indices surged on Monday amid buying in blue-chip stocks and fresh foreign fund inflows. SENSEX jumped 1039 points to 77,944, NIFTY climbed 1.24% to 23,640.
Top gainers in the NIFTY50 pack are Kotak Mahindra Bank, NTPC, Power Grid, Tech Mahindra and SBI.
