NIFTY50 settked 0.39% higher to 23,176, while SENSEX gained 169 points to 76,499.

Waaree Energies share price

Shares of Waaree Energies ended 5.94% higher at ₹2,635 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
On January 10, the company announced that it has inked a ₹792 crore deal to acquire Enel Green Power India Pvt Ltd (EGPIPL).

"Waaree Energies Limited has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement with Enel Green Power Development S.r.l (Seller) on January 10, 2025 for acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Enel Green Power India Private Limited for a total amount of upto ₹792 Crores, subject to customary closing adjustments," the company said in an exchange filing.

NTPC Green share price

NTPC Green Energy shares rose 9.99% to ₹120.98 per unit on the NSE.

The market capitalisation of the company stands at ₹1,01,941.74 crore.

Adani Green share price

Adani Green stock rose 13.52% to ₹1,010 per share, with the market capitalisation at ₹1,59,987.28 crore.

In an exchange filing on January 11, the company said it would hold a board meeting on January 23 to consider and approve the financial results for the third quarter of the current fiscal year.

Premier Energies share price

Shares of Premier Energies rose 2.2% to ₹1,120 apiece. Intraday, it rose up to 3.77%.

ACME Solar Holdings share price

ACME Solar Holdings shares traded at ₹227.70, reflecting an increase of 2.41%.

On January 8, the company announced that its wholly owned subsidiaries, ACME Raisar Solar Energy Pvt Ltd and ACME Dhaulpur Powertech Pvt Ltd, will commission an additional aggregate capacity of 90 megawatts (MW) of solar power projects in Rajasthan.
