Renewable energy stocks traded mixed on Wednesday, June 4, with shares of NTPC Green Energy, Adani Green Energy, and ACME Solar Holdings rising.

Stocks of Waaree Energies and Premier Energies were down.

Waaree Energies' share price settled 0.21% lower at ₹2,881 apiece on the NSE. In an exchange filing, the company informed that its promoters, Hitesh Chimanlal Doshi, Kirit Chimanlal Doshi, Viren Chimanlal Doshi, and Pankaj Chimanlal Doshi, have cumulatively received 1,93,80,002 equity shares (6.75%) of Waaree Energies from Hitesh Chimanlal Doshi HUF, Viren Chimanlal Doshi HUF, Kirit Chimanlal Doshi HUF, and Pankaj Chimanlal Doshi HUF, respectively.

NTPC Green Energy shares climbed 0.33% to ₹107.93 per unit on the NSE. The green energy firm informed that CRISIL has assigned a CRISIL AAA/Stable credit rating for the proposed non-convertible debentures (NCDs) of the company.

Adani Green Energy stock advanced 1.3% to ₹1,005.9 per share after the company's wholly owned unit Adani Saur Urja (KA) Ltd incorporated wholly owned subsidiaries, namely Adani Hydro Energy Six Ltd, Adani Hydro Energy Seven Ltd, Adani Hydro Energy Eight Ltd and Adani Hydro Energy Nine Ltd.
ACME Solar Holdings shares ascended 0.94%, while Premier Energies stock declined 2.47%.

Benchmark stock indices NIFTY and SENSEX rebounded on Wednesday after three days of decline. SENSEX soared 0.32% to 80,998, while NIFTY went up by 77.7 points to 24,620.

From the NIFTY firms, Eternal, Jio Financial Services, IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, BEL, Tech Mahindra and Reliance were the major gainers.

However, Bajaj Finserv, Trent, Eicher Motors, Shriram Finance, Axis Bank, L&T, Titan, JSW Steel, SBI and ICICI Bank were among the laggards.
