SUMMARY
NTPC Green Energy shares declined 0.9% to end at ₹127.18 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Intraday, they plunged up to 1.32%.
Renewable energy stocks traded mixed on Tuesday, December 31. NTPC Green Energy, Adani Green, and Premier Energies were down.
On the other hand, Stocks of ACME Solar Holdings and Waaree Energies were up.
The company's market capitalisation stood at ₹82,220.45 crore.
In an exchange filing on Monday, the company informed Amit Singh, the current chief executive officer (CEO) of Adani Green Energy, will step down from his post effective 31 March 2025 and will be appointed as CEO of International Energy Business of the Adani Group.
On December 27, NTPC Green announced the beginning of commercial operation of 37.5 megawatts (MW) out of the 200 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project in Gujarat's Sadla.
“We wish to inform you that on the basis of certificate dated 26.12.2024 issued by Gujarat Energy Development Agency, first part capacity of 37.5 MW out of 200 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project in Sadla, Gujarat awarded under GUVNL/500 MW/Solar (Phase XI) tender, of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited) is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 21.12.2024,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
On December 26, ACME Solar Holdings' arm, ACME Renewtech Pvt Ltd, received 1,988 crore in financing from Power Finance Corporation (PFC) to fund the construction of a 300 MW solar-wind hybrid renewable energy project.
"In addition to this significant development, ACME Solar has achieved another milestone in its renewable energy portfolio by securing a 300 MW Solar Power Project under the SECI-ISTS XVIII scheme at a tariff of ₹3.05 per unit," it added.
