Renewable energy stocks ended lower on Friday, January 10. Shares of Waaree Energies, NTPC Green Energy, Adani Green Energy, Premier Energies and ACME Solar Holdings were down.
In an exchange filing on Thursday, the company informed that it has incorporated Waaree India Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit organisation that will promote healthcare, education, welfare, and shelter, among other things.
On Thursday, the company informed that the second part capacity of 60 Megawatt (MW) out of 320 MW Bhainsara Solar PV Project of NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green, was declared on commercial operation effective January 7.
It added, "Second part capacity of 50 MW out of 220 MW Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-II) at Shajapur, M.P of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited), is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs. of 10.01.2025."
The company's market capitalisation stood at ₹1,49,889.07 crore.
In an exchange filing on Wednesday, the company announced that its subsidiaries ACME Raisar Solar Energy Pvt Ltd and ACME Dhaulpur Powertech Pvt Ltd have commissioned 1,023.05 MW of solar projects in Rajasthan.
Intraday, it declined up to 7.92%.
