Urban Company, Clean Science, Blue Dart shares surge amid spike in volumes; check full list

The Indian equity benchmarks held on to gains in noon deals on Monday, August 3, as sentiment remained positive after crude prices dropped in global markets. Crude oil prices dropped following reports that US President Donald Trump cancelled military strikes on Iran. Trump said that negotiations with Iran are set to begin on Monday, with a deal regarding the Strait of Hormuz expected soon.

Infosys, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, Axis Bank and State Bank of India were top movers in the SENSEX.

As of 12:45 pm, the SENSEX was up 646 points at 78,740 and NIFTY50 index climbed 215 points to 24,598.

Here are stocks surging amid spike in volumes:

Urban Company

Shares of the country's leading professional services provider rose as much as 18% to hit an intraday high of ₹152 after the company reported that its loss narrowed to ₹92 crore in June quarter from ₹161 crore in the previous quarter.

Urban Company added that InstaHelp, its quick-service housekeeping vertical, crossed 1,00,000 delivered orders in a single day on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

The stock was witnessing high trading activity as volumes jumped 62.5 times to 6.99 crore shares on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) compared with an average volume of 11.18 lakh shares.

On the BSE, as many as 46 lakh shares changed hands compared with an average of 98,000 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Blue Dart

Shares of the country's leading logistics solution provider surged as much as 10% to touch an intraday high of ₹5,694.85 after its net profit in April-June period rose 85% to ₹87 crore from ₹47 crore a year earlier.

The company's net sales advanced 15% to ₹1,568 crore as against ₹1,442 crore in the same period last year.

Trading activity in the stock saw a spike as volumes surged 20 times to 4.76 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 24,165 shares.

Clean Science Technology

Shares of the specialty chemicals maker advanced as much as 9% to ₹800 after the company's net profit slipped marginally to ₹74 crore at the end of Q1 from ₹76 crore in the year-ago period.

Trading volume in the stock jumped by 19.4 times to 29.83 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 1.54 lakh shares.

As many 3.87 lakh shares changed hands on the BSE compared with an average of 20,000 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Balrampur Chini Mills

Shares of the country's leading sugar manufacturer jumped as much as 8.15% to hit an intraday high of ₹636 amid spike in trading activity.

Trading volume in the stock rose by 6.2 times to 16 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 2.53 lakh shares.

APL Apollo Tubes

Shares of the iron and steel products maker rose as much as 7.66% to ₹1,958 after its net profit in June quarter rose 11% to ₹263 crore from ₹237 crore in the same period last year.

The company's net sales during the quarter advanced 9% to ₹5,438 crore.

Trading volume in the stock rose by six times to 28 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 4.65 lakh shares.
