Indian stock market indices reversed its early market gains to trade lower during the trading session on Tuesday, September 22, as investors remained cautious amid the elevated US treasury yields and a volatile oil price amid geopolitical uncertainties in the market.
As of 2:32 pm (IST), the NIFTY50 was down 0.09% at 23,394 points on Tuesday’s market, while the BSE SENSEX was down 0.13% at 74,761 points during the trading session on September 22.
Shares of Transrail Lighting rallied 17% during the trading session on Tuesday, September 22, to touch an intraday high of ₹485 apiece compared to ₹414.20 apiece at the previous equity market close.
Trading volumes surpassed 1.69 crore equity shares, marking a 53 times jump over the average trading volume of 3,19,673 shares on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) triggering the high volume gains on Tuesday’s market.
Transrail Lighting informed investors on Monday evening that the company’s phase 1 of the brownfield expansion for conductor manufacturing at our Silvassa location has been completed.
This capex expansion has increased the company’s total installed capacity of conductor manufacturing to 40,800 Km/annum, from earlier 24,000 Km/annum.
Trading volumes surged to more than 2.05 crore equity shares during Monday’s market, marking a 39.23 times jump over the average weekly volume of 5,22,987 equity shares, as per the exchange data.
High volume momentum triggered the intraday gains as the company’s latest update showed that Pace Digitek secured a ₹488 crore BESS order from NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited.
The company expects to complete the order by December 31, 2026, and the maintenance period for the order will be 12 years from the date of completion.
Shares of Jain Resource Recycling jumped around 10% to touch an intraday high of ₹299.80 apiece during the session on September 22, in comparison to ₹272.75 apiece at the previous market close, according to NSE data.
Trading volumes of the company’s stock spiked by over 19 times to cross 1.16 crore equity shares on Tuesday’s market session, compared to an average weekly volume of 6,04,605 equity shares.
NSE data further showed that Jain Resource’s trading volumes witnessed a nearly 12 times jump in comparison to the two-week average of 9,71,577 equity shares.
Last week, the company’s board granted its approval to issue an additional corporate guarantee of an amount not exceeding ₹50 crore to ICICI Bank in an effort to secure credit facilities for Jain CY Circular Solutions Private Limited, a subsidiary of the firm.
C.E. Info Systems shares rallied 7.6% to touch an intraday high of ₹969.80 apiece on Tuesday’s market, compared to ₹900.50 apiece at the previous market close, NSE data showed.
Trading volumes surpassed 14.21 lakh equity shares, marking a 12.55 times jump over the weekly average volume of 1,13,229 equity shares, triggering the high volume gains on September 22.
The exchange data further showed that the trading volumes surged 12.64 times in comparison to the average trading volumes in the past two weeks of 1,12,472 equity shares.
Shares of Optiemus Infracom rallied 20% to hit its upper circuit and intraday high of ₹708.90 per share during the trading session on Tuesday, compared to ₹590.75 apiece at the previous equity market close, as per NSE data.
Trading volumes surged by 12.76 times to cross 80 lakh equity shares during the intraday session on Sept. 22, triggering the high-volume gains, in comparison to the average trading volume of 6,26,882 in the past week.
On Tuesday, Optiemus Infracom informed the stock exchanges that the company’s board has approved to expand the existing partnership with Nothing Electronics Private Limited (Nothing) by entering into a binding term sheet for the commercialization and sale of CMF products including but not limited to mobile phones and their sub-assemblies or components.
CMF by Nothing is the brand which manufactures smartphones like the Nothing Phone and other accessories like CMF Buds, CMF Headphones, among other things.
India Tourism Development Corp’s stock surged 11% to touch an intraday high of ₹723.70 apiece during the trading session on September 22, compared to ₹651.95 at the previous equity market close, as per NSE data.
The trading volumes surpassed 29.39 lakh equity shares on Tuesday, marking a 31 times increase in trading activity when compared to the past week’s average volumes of just 94,679 equity shares.
The high-volume gains were triggered by the massive investors interest 2.43 times over the two week average of 12,09,314 equity shares on the National Stock Exchange.
