Pace Digitek arm wins BESS order worth ₹488 crore from NGSL; shares decline 17% YTD

Pace Digitek share price: Shares of Pace Digitek are expected to be on investors' radar on Tuesday, September 22, as its material subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Ltd, bagged an order worth ₹488.46 crore.

The company bagged the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) order from NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited (NGSL), according to a regulatory filing dated September 21.

It secured the order for “supply, delivery, testing, and supervision of erection, testing, and commissioning” of 5.015 megawatt-hour (MWh) BESS containers along with a battery management system (BMS) and energy management system (EMS), strictly as per the request for quotation (RFQ) documents issued, including a comprehensive maintenance contract (CMC), it stated.

The order is expected to be completed by December 31, 2026, and will be followed by a maintenance period of 12 years, Pace Digitek added.

Recent update

Last month, Lineage Power Private Ltd, its subsidiary, received a letter of award (LoA) from Kalpa Power Private Limited for the supply and commissioning support of a BESS. The order was valued at ₹92.9 crore and was scheduled for completion by December 31, 2021, it said in a regulatory filing dated August 24.

Pace Digitek Q1 results

The firm reported a 13.24% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹61.32 crore in the April-June quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27), compared with ₹54.15 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal year.

Its consolidated revenue from operations jumped 51.29% YoY to ₹555.36 crore for the reporting quarter, as against ₹367.08 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).

Pace Digitek share performance

The stock of Pace Digitek closed 0.84% lower at ₹154.86 per equity share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday, September 21. However, the development was announced after the markets closed.

The scrip has fallen 2% in the past week and 14% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has declined more than 17%.

While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹231.95 per unit on October 10, 2025, they touched a year’s low of ₹139.81 apiece on March 30, 2026.
