TCS, Vedanta interim dividends: Record dates this week; upcoming rights issue and other corporate actions

TCS interim dividend

The largest IT services firm in India declared its second interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share of ₹1 each along with its September quarter earnings (Q2 FY27). The board of directors also fixed Wednesday, October 14, 2026, as the record date for the dividend.

The second interim dividend will be paid on Friday, October 30, 2026, to the eligible equity shareholders of the company.

The company reported a 14.98% year-on-year (YoY) jump in its consolidated net profit to ₹13,884 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹12,075 crore in the same period last year. Sequentially, profit rose 4.01% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).

Its consolidated revenue from operations surged 11.23% YoY to ₹73,118 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹65,799 crore in the second quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year. It jumped 1.26% QoQ.

Vedanta

Vedanta board of directors in its meeting on Thursday, October 8, approved the first interim dividend for the financial year 2026-27 (FY27).

The board cleared an interim dividend of ₹5 per equity share on a face value of ₹1 per equity share for FY27, amounting to nearly ₹1,955 crore.

The company had also set a record date for the dividend payout on October 14, 2026.

Ola Electric Mobility

Ola Electric Mobility board of directors on October 7 gave a nod for ₹1,000 crore fundraising plans through a rights issue.

The board has approved the terms of its rights issue of 37.03 crore partly paid-up equity shares, aggregating to ₹999.74 crore. The rights issue is priced at ₹27 per share, including a premium of ₹17 per share.

The Bhavish Agarwal-led firm has set October 13, 2026, as the record date for determining the shareholders who will be eligible to receive the rights entitlement. The issue will open on October 22 and close on October 30, 2026. The firm further said that the rights entitlements will be available for on-market renunciation until Monday, October 26, 2026.

The board has fixed the rights entitlement ratio at 2 rights equity shares for every 25 fully paid-up equity shares held by eligible shareholders as of the record date, October 13, 2026.

Bansal Wire Industries

In August 2026, the board of directors of Bansal Wire Industries had approved a stock split in which one existing equity share with a face value of ₹5 each will be subdivided into five equity shares with a face value of ₹1 each, subject to shareholders’ approval.

The company had fixed October 16, 2026, as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders entitled to the stock split.
