Hero MotoCorp: The two-wheeler maker said its wholesales increased 5% year-on-year (YoY) to 5,12,360 units in August. In the year-ago period, the company dispatched 4,88,717 units to dealers in August 2023. The company said its domestic sales increased to 4,92,263 units last month, compared to 4,72,947 units in the year-ago period.
Tata Motors: The carmaker reported an 8% rise in total wholesales to 71,693 units in August, compared with 78,010 units in the same month last year. Total domestic sales stood at 70,006 units last month, a dip of 8%, Tata Motors said in a statement.
Maruti Suzuki: The automaker reported a 4% YoY decline in total sales in August at 1,81,782 units. The company had dispatched 1,89,082 units in the same month last year, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement.
NBCC: State-owned
NBCC (India) Ltd said the Board has approved the issue of bonus shares in a ratio of 1:2 to eligible shareholders, and the company will utilise ₹90 crore free reserve for this purpose. The Board has fixed October 7, 2024, as the record date to determine the eligibility of members to receive bonus shares.
Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences: The firm has acquired a 100% equity stake in Chalasani Hospitals Private Limited, Visakhapatnam, for ₹28 crore. Established in 1995, Chalasani Hospitals is a 200-bed hospital.
