Power Mech Projects: On Tuesday, Power Mech Projects said it secured an order worth ₹164.63 crore from state-owned BHEL for the 1600 MW DVC Koderma Thermal Power Station Phase-II—EPC (engineering procurement construction) project. The order will be executed in 30 months from the date of the LOA (letter of award), a regulatory statement said.
Waaree Energies: On Tuesday, Waaree Energies said it secured an order from Aditya Birla Renewables' subsidiary to supply 410 MW solar PV modules. These modules are designed for captive usage among Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers, a company statement said. The order was given by ABREL EPC Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aditya Birla Renewables.
Adani Green Energy: The company on Tuesday said its arm, Adani Saur Urja, has received an order from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) to procure 1,250 MW of energy storage capacity from pumped hydro storage projects.

Adani Saur Urja, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from UPPCL in this regard.

Dr Reddy's: The company, in its regulatory filing, said that the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) inspected its API manufacturing facility (CTO-2) in Bollaram, Hyderabad.

The pharma company said it has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR). "The USFDA has classified the inspection as Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI) and concluded that the inspection is "closed" under 21 CFR 20.64(d)(3)," the filing added.

NBFCs: Shares of NBFCs will be in the focus as the Reserve Bank on Tuesday lowered risk weights for bank finance to NBFCs and microfinance loans, a move that will unlock more funds and boost credit. A lower risk weight means that lenders need to set aside less funds as a safety net for consumer loans, implying an increase in their lending capacity.

Both NBFCs and microfinance institutions have witnessed a slowdown in their lending after the central bank tightened lending norms by raising the risk weight in November 2023.

Mastek: Mastek on Wednesday, February 26, announced that it has secured multiple contracts with an estimated value of ₹85 million from a UK public service department, spread over 2 years. The contracts are an extension and expansion of the ongoing collaborations that support the transformation of the department’s Digital, Data, and Technology services, aligned to its strategic priorities.
Coforge: The company's board is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, to consider the proposal of alteration in the share capital of the Company by sub-division/ split of the existing equity shares of the face value ₹10 each.
Tata Power: Tata Power has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at Advantage Assam 2.0 to further its commitment to renewable energy and sustainable development in the state.

The company has inked an MoU with the Assam Government to tie up and support up to 5000 MW of renewable and clean energy projects comprising Solar, Wind, Hydro, and Energy Storage in the state with ₹30,000 crore investment over the next five years.

Kesoram Industries: UltraTech Cement on Tuesday said its board has declared the scheme of demerger of the cement business of Kesoram Industries to be effective from March 1, 2025.

Under the scheme, the cement business of Kesoram Industries will be merged with UltraTech Cement. The board of UltraTech at its meeting held on Tuesday "declared the scheme (with a swap ratio of 1:52) to be effective from March 1, 2025," the largest cement maker said in a regulatory filing.

Torrent Power: Torrent Power on Tuesday said its subsidiary Torrent Green Energy Pvt Ltd (TGEPL) has incorporated Torrent Urja 35 Pvt Ltd (TU35) for generating electricity from renewable energy.

TU35 was incorporated in India and registered with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat at Ahmedabad on February 25, 2025, and is yet to commence its business operations, a regulatory filing said.

TU35 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TGEPL.

Gland Pharma: Gland Pharma Ltd on Tuesday said the US health regulator has issued a Form 483 with three observations to its facility at JNPC, Visakhapatnam.

The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) conducted a pre-approval inspection for sterile APIs at the company's facility at JNPC, Visakhapatnam, between February 19, 2025, and February 25, 2025, Gland Pharma said in a regulatory filing.

"The said inspection was concluded with three Form 483 Observations. These observations are procedural," it added.

IndusInd Bank: The lender on Tuesday said tax authorities have slapped a demand notice of about Rs 21.62 crore for alleged short payment of GST.

The bank received a communication/demand order on Tuesday from the Deputy Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad, Gujarat for various GST issues, IndusInd Bank said in a regulatory filing.

Bharti Airtel: Bharti Airtel on Wednesday said it was in talks with Tata Group for the merger of its loss-making Direct-To-Home (DTH) business.

Airtel is holding discussions with the salt-to-software conglomerate for the merger of Bharti Telemedia, which offers cable and satellite TV services, with Tata Play, according to a regulatory filing from Sunil Bharti Mittal-led firm.
