Stocks to Watch: The domestic equity market will likely open on a negative note on Thursday, February 20.

At 7:25 AM, the GIFT NIFTY futures were trading at 22,894.50, down 54 points, or 0.24%. This suggests that the NIFTY50 index will open 70 points lower.

On the global front, China's central bank on Thursday kept lending rates unchanged, showing authorities are going slow with monetary stimulus as they prioritise financial and currency stability.

In the overnight trade, US stocks ended modestly higher, and the S&P 500 notched its second straight all-time closing high as investors assessed the minutes from the Federal Reserve's January policy meeting and digested US President Donald Trump's tariff plans.

All three major US equity indexes made gains on the day, Reuters reported.

Here is a list of stocks that may remain in focus today.
JBM Auto: On Wednesday, JBM Auto Ltd's subsidiary JBM Ecolife Mobility announced securing an order worth ₹5,500 crore for the supply of 1,021 electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme-2.

These buses, which are to be delivered over 18 months, will be deployed across 19 cities in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Haryana, JBM Ecolife Mobility said.

However, the deployment period will be 12 years, JBM Auto said.
Waaree Energies: Waaree Energies on Wednesday said it has bagged an order from a domestic entity to supply solar PV modules of 362.5 MWp capacity.

The company did not disclose the name of the company that placed the order.

"The company has today received an order for the supply of solar modules for 362.5 MWp from a renowned customer engaged in the business of owning, developing, and operating renewable power projects in India," Waaree Energies said in a regulatory filing.

Hyundai Motor India: Hyundai Motor India is looking to position itself as a manufacturing hub for exports for emerging markets like Africa and neighbouring nations, according to a top company executive.

The company is looking to diversify its export markets as it continues to face challenges regarding shipments to regions like the Middle East due to the Red Sea and other geopolitical issues.

"We are positioning the company as a production hub for emerging markets. We are manufacturing and exporting our cost-optimised vehicle to the emerging markets," Hyundai Motor India MD Unsoo Kim told PTI.

As per the data of the open offer, against 90,042,541 shares (26%), only 231,025 shares (0.07%) were tendered.

The open offer for the acquisition of up to 9,00,42,541 fully paid-up equity shares of face value of ₹10 each, representing 26% of the expanded voting share capital of REL from the public shareholde₹ by M B Finmart Pvt Ltd, Puran Associates Pvt Ltd, VIC Enterprises Pvt Ltd, and Milky Investment & Trading Company commenced on January 27, 2025.

India Glycols: The company has been awarded a contract for the supply of 18.06 crore litres of ethanol for ₹1,264.2 crore under the ethanol blended petrol programme.
BSE: Banking and financial services major Goldman Sachs on Wednesday bought shares of leading stock exchange BSE for ₹401 crore through an open market transaction.

According to the bulk deal data available on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), US-based Goldman Sachs, through its arm Goldman Sachs (Singapore), purchased 7.28 lakh shares of BSE Ltd.

Torrent Power: Torrent Green Energy incorporated Torrent Urja 30 Pvt Ltd (TU30), a wholly owned subsidiary, on February 19, 2025.

TU30 is into electricity generation from renewable energy. It is incorporated in India and registered with the Registrar of Companies in Ahmedabad on February 12, 2025, a regulatory filing by Torrent Power said.

TU30 has an authorized share capital of ₹5 lakh and a paid-up share capital of ₹5 lakh. It has yet to commence business operations.

Torrent Green Energy Pvt Ltd (TGEPL) is a subsidiary of Torrent Power.

Bharat Forge: On Wednesday, Bharat Forge announced that its subsidiary has inked a pact with AM General, USA, to supply advanced artillery cannons made in India.

Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd. (KSSL) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) at IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi, the company said in a regulatory filing.

This marks the first-ever supply of cannons from an Indian defence manufacturer to the US, a testament to the strengthening bilateral defence cooperation between our two nations, it added.

Arkade Developers: The company, in its regulatory filing, said it has secured the redevelopment rights for Nutan Ayojan, a co-operative housing society in Malad West. The project, spanning 6,858.90 square meters, is expected to generate a gross development value (GDV) of approximately ₹740 crore, the filing added.
Mahindra Logistics: The company announced on Wednesday the culmination of its incubator programme, Catapult 4.0. Eight startups engaged with the company for mentorship and the development of disruptive solutions to improve operational efficiency.

This initiative is part of Mahindra Logistics' tech vision to ignite success within the Indian startup ecosystem, catalysing advanced solutions and driving operational excellence in the logistics industry, the company said.

Participating startups -- Tarsyer, Vecros, Tokere, Ignomagine, Electrike, Quargos, KaviRise, and Nebularc -- presented groundbreaking technology solutions, it said.

Cyient Ltd: Cyient, the midcap IT services company, on Wednesday, announced the appointment of Sukamal Banerjee as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of its DET business, effective February 19, 2025. Banerjee will also serve on the Board of Directors of Cyient Limited.
M&M: The Mahindra Group on Wednesday said it has tied up with US defence technology firm Anduril Industries to co-develop and produce autonomous maritime systems to counter drone threats, providing enhanced protection against unmanned aerial systems.

The partners also plan to jointly come up with advanced AI-enabled Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS) technologies and innovative Command and Control (C2) software.
