The NIFTY Realty index, which reflects the performance of real estate companies primarily engaged in constructing residential and commercial properties, soared as much as 3.05% to hit an intraday high level of 920.35 on Thursday, compared with the previous closing level of 893.15.
At around 11:48 AM, the index was trading 2.52% or 22.50 points higher at 915.65. The NIFTY Realty index has rallied 19% over the past three months and more than 18% in the past six months. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has climbed 3%.
Out of the 10 stocks constituting the index, all advanced on Thursday, September 3.
Shares of Anant Raj gained as much as 7.8% to hit an intraday high of ₹634.60 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday, September 3, compared with Wednesday’s closing price of ₹588.85 per unit.
At the time of writing, the stock stood at ₹631.55 per equity share, marking a 7.25% increase. The scrip has climbed 4% over the past week and 14% on a YTD basis.
While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹743.65 per unit on October 7, 2025, they touched a year’s low of ₹403 apiece on March 30, 2026.
The Aditya Birla Real Estate Ltd (ABREL) stock has advanced as much as 4.19% to hit the session’s peak of ₹1,386.90 per equity share, as against the closing price of ₹1,331.10 apiece that it hit during Wednesday’s session.
The scrip was trading 3.70% higher at ₹1,380.40 per unit at the time of writing. It has fallen 1% in the past week and nearly 4% over the month. It was down 18% YTD.
While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹1,965.30 per unit on September 18, 2025, they reached a year’s low of ₹1,080.10 on March 16, 2026.
Brigade Enterprises shares climbed as much as % to hit an intraday high of ₹670.80 apiece on the NSE, in contrast with Wednesday’s closing price of ₹640 per unit.
At the time of writing, the stock stood at ₹661.25 per equity share, up by 3.32%. The scrip has risen 1% in the past week and 13% over the month. However, YTD, it has declined by 2%.
In a regulatory filing dated September 1, Brigade Enterprises informed the exchanges that it incorporated two wholly owned subsidiaries, Celebrations Property Private Limited and Tetrarch Estates Private Limited.
“The said companies will take up development of real estate projects,” the filing read.
This intimation is being submitted by the company pursuant to receipt of the Certificate of Incorporation from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, it said.
Prestige Estates Projects rose as much as 3.7% to hit the session’s peak of ₹1,641.40 per equity share, compared with the closing price of ₹1,582 per unit apiece that it hit during Wednesday’s session.
The shares were trading 3.38% higher at ₹1,635.50 per unit at the time of writing. It has climbed 1% in the past week but lost 2% over the month. It has jumped 2% YTD.
The shares surged after the company informed the exchanges, in a regulatory filing on September 3, that the Prestige Group has added a 17.14-acre land parcel in Sector 109, Gurgaon, to its residential development portfolio.
The project will have a saleable area of approximately 2.8 million sq. ft., with an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of approximately ₹5,600 crore, it added.
The land parcel has connectivity to the Dwarka Expressway and also provides connectivity to key residential, commercial, and social infrastructure destinations across Gurgaon and Delhi, the filing added.
