The Indian benchmark indices, SENSEX and NIFTY50, were trading in the negative territory during the afternoon session on Tuesday, August 11, amid a sell-off in cement stocks. Furthermore, investor sentiment remained subdued as crude oil prices rose due to geopolitical uncertainties.
The SENSEX slumped as much as 0.66% to reach an intraday low of 78,048.26. Meanwhile, the NIFTY50 dropped as much as 0.63% to touch the session’s low of 24,429.25.
At 1:54 PM, the S&P BSE SENSEX fell by 408.68 points, or 0.52%, to trade at 78,133.76, while NSE’s NIFTY50 stood at 24,448.55, registering a 135.25-point, or 0.55% decline.
Vedanta Ltd's demerged companies' stocks were trading in the green on Tuesday, August 11, following the index rejig announced by the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday.
As part of the latest index rejig announced by the NSE, 27 stocks will be added to the NIFTY500 index, including Vedanta Aluminium Metal Ltd., Vedanta Iron and Steel Ltd., Vedanta Oil and Gas Ltd., and Vedanta Power Ltd.
Shares of Vodafone Idea surged as much as 2.9% to hit an intraday high on the NSE on Tuesday, August 11, after the company reported a 6% year-on-year (YoY) revenue growth for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), to ₹11,689 crore. The company had posted revenue of ₹11,023 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) for the quarter came in at ₹5,034 crore, a YoY growth of 9.1%, while the EBITDA margin stood at 43.1%, up from 41.8% in the year-ago period.
Its net loss narrowed to ₹3,754 crore as compared to ₹6,608 crore logged in Q1 FY26.
The company said its customer ARPU increased to ₹195 in Q1 FY27 from ₹177 in Q1 FY26, a YoY increase of 10.2%- the highest in the industry- primarily supported by customer upgrades.
The stock of Bosch climbed as much as 5.16% to reach the session’s peak of ₹45,750 per equity share on the NSE on Tuesday, despite registering a fall of 37% from ₹1,115 crore during the same period last year.
The revenue from operations of the auto components and equipment maker increased 22% for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, to ₹5,842 crore as against ₹4,789 crore in the year-ago period.
Bosch said its revenue growth during the period was driven by strong performance across key segments, with the power solutions business growing 29%, the mobility aftermarket segment rising 9.6%, and the two-wheeler powersports segment recording a 41.4% increase.
Gland Pharma shares surged around 12% to hit an intraday and 52-week high level of ₹2,987 apiece on August 11, as investors focused on the company’s strong April to June quarter performance for the financial year 2026-27, amid expectations of key growth challenges nearing an end for the small-cap pharma stock.
NSE filings showed that Gland Pharma’s consolidated net profit after tax increased 47% YoY to ₹317 crore in the April to June quarter of FY27, in comparison to ₹215 crore in the same period of the previous year.
The company’s revenue from core operations advanced 19.5% to ₹1,800 crore in the June quarter results, from ₹1,506 crore in the same period a year earlier, according to the consolidated financial statements.
With Gland Pharma’s CDMO contract deal in focus, along with the management guidance of a 15% growth in constant currency, experts believe that several key growth challenges for the small-cap pharma stock are now nearing an end.
The stock of Info Edge (India), the parent company of Naukri, surged as much as 8% after the company reported robust earnings for the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27).
The company posted a 50.62% YoY surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹445.73 crore during the quarter under review, compared with ₹295.92 crore in the June quarter of FY26, according to a regulatory filing dated August 10.
Its revenue from operations advanced 11.37% YoY to ₹880.75 crore in the June quarter of FY27, as against ₹790.86 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal year.
Shares of Triveni Turbine fell as much as 7.95% to touch an intraday low of ₹586.10 on the NSE a day after it announced its June quarter earnings.
Triveni Turbines, post market hours on Monday, reported a net profit of ₹50.5 crore in the April-June quarter of the current financial year, marking a decline of 25% from ₹67 crore in the same period last year.
Its revenue from operations, however, rose 15% to ₹397 crore in the June quarter from ₹345 crore in the year-ago period.
KPI Green Energy shares tumbled 9% after the company reported a 15% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹95 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹111.31 crore a year back.
Its revenue from operations rose 16% to ₹709.81 crore.

Shares of BSE Ltd are in focus, as the NSE, in its press release on Monday, said that the Index Maintenance Sub-Committee (Equity) of NSE Indices Ltd has decided to make replacements of stocks in various indices as part of its periodic review.
These changes shall become effective on September 30, 2026 (close of business on September 29, 2026).
The most prominent change is the rejig in the coveted NIFTY50 index. The stock exchange announced that, as of September 30, BSE will be part of the NIFTY50 index, replacing the IT services firm Wipro.
Amara Raja Energy & Mobility stock climbed as much as 8% to hit an intraday high of ₹969.15 after its net profit rose 5% to ₹203 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year from ₹194 crore in the year-ago period.
Its revenue from operations advanced 21% to ₹4,041 crore at the end of the June quarter from ₹3,350 crore in the same period last year.
