KEC International, Ola Electric, Can Fin Homes shares surge amid heavy volumes; check full list

The Indian equity benchmarks were trading in a narrow range ahead of monthly expiry of June futures and option contracts as gains in index heavyweights like Maruti Suzuki, Bharti Airtel, Titan, Bajaj Finance and Eternal were offset by losses in Infosys, ICICI Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, ITC and Reliance Industries.

As of 1:21 pm, the SENSEX was down 23 points at 76,705 and NIFTY50 index declined 20 points to 23,926. During the session, NIFTY50 touched an intraday high of 24,035 and a low of 23,882.

Here are stocks witnessing heavier than usual trading volumes:
KEC International: Shares of the infrastructure developer rose as much as 7% to hit an intraday high of ₹550 after the company informed exchanges that it won new orders worth ₹1,754 crore across various businesses. The company secured a large tower supply order in Americas.

The stock was witnessing very high trading activity as volumes jumped by 5.7 times to 74 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 12.88 lakh shares.

On the BSE, 4.46 lakh shares changed hands compared with an average of 2.59 lakh shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Can Fin Homes: Shares of the mortgage lender advanced as much as 6.87% to hit an intraday high of ₹892 after amid spike in trading volumes.

Trading volume in the stock jumped by 4.4 times to 14 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 3.21 lakh shares.

On the BSE, as many as 89,000 shares were traded compared with an average of 8,252 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Ola Electric: Shares of the electric two-wheeler maker advanced as much as 11% to touch an intraday high of ₹45 after Delhi government announced Electric Vehicle policy which called for only electric two-wheelers registration from April 1, 2028.

Trading volume in the stock jumped by 3.6 times to 33 crore shares compared with an average volume of 9.11 crore shares.

On the BSE, trading volume jumped 2.2 crore shares as against an average of 62 lakh shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Whirlpool: Shares of the white goods maker advanced as much as 1.86% to hit an intraday high of ₹815 amid spike in trading volumes.

Trading volume in the stock jumped by 3.4 times to 6.92 lakh shares compare with an average of 2.04 lakh shares.

Capri Global: Shares of the non-banking finance company rose as much as 6.72% to hit an intraday high of ₹231 after the company in an investor presentation said that its assets under management jumped 60% annually to ₹36,623.70 crore in financial year 2026.

Trading volume in the stock more than tripled to 1.36 crore shares compared with an average volume of 42 lakh shares.

On the BSE, as many as 82 lakh shares changed hands compared with an average of 10.57 lakh shares traded daily in the past two weeks.
