Jupiter Wagons share price: Shares of India’s leading railway wagon manufacturer, Jupiter Wagons, plunged over 5% on Monday morning after the company posted weak quarterly and fiscal year earnings for Q4FY26 and FY26. The shares hit an intraday low of ₹273 apiece on the NSE.

Q4 result highlights

The company’s Q4FY26 consolidated revenue plunged 25% YoY to ₹790 crore as compared ot ₹1,057 crore in the previous year's same quarter. Similarly, the EBITDA for the quarter nearly halved from ₹153 crore to ₹83 crore in the same period last year, with an EBITDA margin contraction of over 400 bps to 10.7% from 14.7% in the previous year’s same quarter. The net profit for the quarter plunged 73% YoY to ₹27 crore as compared to ₹103 crore.

Similarly, for FY26, the company’s revenue fell 26% YoY to ₹2,961 crore as compared to ₹3,963 crore. The EBITDA for the year ended FY26 dropped 37% YoY to ₹362 crore, as against ₹578 crore. The EBITDA margin for full year stood at 12.6% as compared to 14.6% in FY25. Similarly, the net profit for the year ended 31st March 2026, plunged 56% YoY to ₹166 crore as compared to ₹380 crore.

Earlier in May, Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory (JTRWF), a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Ltd, entered into a definitive long-term supply agreement with the leading European rail wagon manufacturer Tatravagonka a.s. for the supply of rail wheels, axles, and wheelsets. Through JTRWF's greenfield plant at Odisha, the company has planned an annual capacity of One Lakh wheelsets. And expects to export around 50,000 wheelsets annually to the European market, placing India squarely on the global rail supply chain map.

The share price performance has been subdued across time frames. The share price plunged 17% YTD and nearly 30%. The share price trades nearly 34% away from its 52-week high price of ₹418 apiece, last seen in June 2025.
