Eicher Motors posts record growth in two-wheeler sales for FY26 at 12.3 lakh units up 23% YoY

Eicher Motors' share price closed 2.5% lower on Thursday after recouping partial losses from the early morning correction. The shares remained in focus throughout the day after the company posted robust growth in its motorcycles division. The shares plunged nearly 15% in last month amid the ongoing conflict between the US, Israel and Iran.

Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division Royal Enfield has reported 11% rise in sales at 1,12,334 units in March 2026 as compared to 1,01,021 motorcycles sold in March 2025. The sales of models with engine capacity up to 350 cc increased by 12% at 97,933 units in March 2026 against 87,312 units in the same period a year ago.

Besides, the sales of its models with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc have risen by 5% to 14,401 units in March 2026, as against 13,709 units in March 2025. However, the sales from International Business decreased by 8% at 11,928 units in March 2026 against 12,971 units in the same period a year ago.

In the financial year ending March 31, 2026 (FY26), Royal Enfield has recorded its highest-ever annual sales at 12,38,659 units, a growth of 23% over 10,09,900 units last year. During FY26, the sales of Models with engine capacity up to 350cc grew 25% to 10,87,051 units as compared to 8,68,667 units in the previous year.

Further, sales of Models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc rose 7% to 1,51,608 units in FY26 as against 1,41,233 units last year. Besides, Royal Enfield’s international business reported 23% rise in sales at 1,31,316 units in FY26 as against 1,07,143 units last year.

Eicher Motors is engaged in manufacturing automobile products and related components. The company operates in business verticals, including motorcycles, commercial vehicles and personal utility vehicles.
