Bajaj Finance Q4 results: Bajaj Finance recorded a nearly 23% rise in its March quarter net profits for the financial year ended 2025-26, as the company recorded a healthy growth in its core interest income, according to an exchange filing.

The NSE filing showed that Bajaj Finance’s net profit for the fourth quarter rose nearly 23% to ₹4,839 crore, compared to ₹3,940 crore in the same period a year ago, according to the standalone financial statements.

The NBFC company’s interest income for the fourth quarter rose 17% YoY to ₹16,203 crore in the fourth quarter of the financial year ended 2025-26, compared to ₹13,824 crore in the same period a year ago.

Bajaj Finance’s overall revenue from operations witnessed a nearly 18% rise year-on-year to ₹18,430 crore, compared with ₹15,638 crore in the same period last year. On the EPS front, the company’s earnings per share rose to ₹7.78 apiece, compared to ₹6.36 per share in the same period of the previous financial year.

Bajaj Finance also disclosed that the company promoter group director, Rajiv Bajaj, has decided to step down from his role, and effective July 30, he will cease to be a non-executive director of the company.

Bajaj Finance dividend

Bajaj Finance’s board of directors have recommended a final dividend of ₹6 per share with the face value of ₹1 apiece for the fiscal year ended 2025-26, subject to the shareholders' approval in the upcoming board meeting.

“The board of directors have recommended final dividend on equity shares at the rate of ₹6 per share (600%) of the face value of ₹1 each for the financial year March 31, 2026. The said dividend, if declared by the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting, will be credited on or about August 3, 2026,” the company said in its NSE filing.

The company also disclosed that the dividend issue includes a special payout of ₹0.60 per equity share out of the exceptional gain on sale of Bajaj Housing Finance Limited (BHFL) shares.

This means that every eligible shareholder will receive a dividend issue of ₹6 per share for every share they own in Bajaj Finance, up to one day ahead of the ‘record date’ fixed as on June 30, 2026.

The dividend will be considered and approved in the upcoming AGM on Thursday, 30 July 2026.

Bajaj Finance shares closed 0.69% higher at ₹930 after Wednesday’s market session, compared to ₹923.65 at the previous market close. The company announced its results after market hours on April 29.

Shares of Bajaj Finance have given more than 70% returns in the last five years, 48% in the last three years, and over 2% in the past one-year period, according to NSE data.

Although the company’s shares have lost over 4% so far in 2026, the company’s stock has gained 10.55% in the last one month period. The company’s market capitalisation (M-Cap) was at over ₹5.8 lakh crore as of Tuesday’s market session.
