Apar Industries shares rally over 9% after Q1 net profit rises 78% YoY on healthy revenue growth

Electrical equipment maker Apar Industries shares rallied more than 9% during the trading session on Friday, July 24, after the company posted a 78% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its April to June quarter net profits for the financial year 2026-27 on healthy revenue gains.

Shares of Apar Industries jumped 9.4% to their intraday high level of ₹14,685 apiece on Friday’s market, compared to ₹13,423 apiece at the previous stock market close, according to NSE data.

After the intraday high level, the company’s stock was trading 2% higher at ₹13,686 apiece during the afternoon market hours on July 24.

Apar Industries’ Q1 financial performance also showed that the healthy revenue growth in the June quarter comes against the backdrop of an overall rise in income from conductors, transformer, and power & telecom cables business.

Apar Industries Q1 earnings snapshot

On Friday, Apar Industries’ board of directors announced that the company recorded a 78% rise in its consolidated net profit (attributable to the owners) to ₹467.45 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared year-on-year (YoY) with ₹262.91 crore in the same quarter a year earlier.

NSE filings also showed that on a sequential basis, the company’s net profit surged 84% when compared to ₹253.44 crore in the fourth quarter of FY26.

Apar Industries’ revenue from core operations advanced 29% YoY to ₹6,566.62 crore in the June quarter, in comparison to ₹5,084.20 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

However, on a quarter-on-quarter basis, the revenues witnessed a marginal drop to their June quarter levels, from ₹6,602.81 crore in the Q4 results in the fiscal year 2026-27.

Segmental revenue

A deeper dive into the financial statements also showed that Apar Industries’ revenue from the ‘conductors’ business witnessed a 20% YoY growth to ₹3,338.13 crore, from ₹2,784.72 crore in the same period a year earlier.

The company’s consolidated revenue breakdown also showed that the income from the ‘transformer and speciality oils’ business surged nearly 35% to ₹1,700.87 crore, compared to ₹1,262.06 crore in the same period a year earlier.

The ‘power and telecom cables’ business revenues jumped 29% YoY to ₹1,838 crore in the first quarter of FY27, from ₹1,419.43 crore in the same period a year ago, as per the exchange filings.

Apar Industries shares have delivered more than 2,162% returns to investors in the last five years, over 263% gains in the last three years, and more than 51% returns on their investment in the past one year period, according to NSE data.

So far in the calendar year 2026, the company’s stock has risen 66.5%, but Apar Industries shares have dropped 17% in the last one-month period. The exchange data also showed that the shares were trading 0.2% higher in the last five market sessions.

Shares of Apar Industries surged to their 52-week high of ₹17,157 on June 24, 2026, while the 52-week low was at ₹6,801 apiece on January 21, 2026. The company's market capitalisation (m-cap) was at ₹55,303 crore as of the trading session on Friday, July 24, 2026.
