Adani Group stocks, Adani Total Gas: For the second consecutive day, all Adani Group shares traded in positive territory on Thursday. The Adani Green Energy stock hit the 10% upper circuit, while Adani Power shares were up 9.35%.
Adani Total Gas surged 16.9%, Adani Energy Solutions zoomed 10%, Adani Enterprises soared 4.6%, and Adani Wilmar rallied 2.7% on the National Stock Exchange.
NBCC, HUDCO: Shares of state-owned NBCC Ltd rallied as much as 5% to ₹100.49 apiece on the BSE on Thursday, November 28, a day after the PSU signed an MoU with HUDCO to develop a 10-acre industrial plot in Noida at the cost of ₹600 crore. 

HUDCO shares, on the other hand, jumped 9% to ₹240.50 on the BSE. 

KEC International: Shares of infrastructure EPC major KEC International hit their all-time high mark on Thursday after the company secured orders worth ₹1,704 crore. The stock climbed to a record high of ₹1,094.70 apiece after jumping 7% on the NSE in the early trade.

However, the stock trimmed its gains later. Last seen, shares of the company were trading at ₹1,058.65 apiece on the NSE, up 3.48%. 

IT stocks: IT stocks crashed in the trade on worries the Federal Reserve may be cautious about rate cuts after stubbornly strong US inflation data. The BSE Information Technology index was trading at 42,696.40 levels, down 2.16%.

Among individual names, Infosys was down nearly 3.4%, LTTS was trading over 3.3% lower, and Zaggle was down 3%. 

Godrej Properties: Godrej Properties stock was trading 1% lower at ₹2,806.40 on the BSE. The company on Wednesday launched its qualified institutional placement (QIP) to sell equity shares to investors for raising up to ₹6,000 crore to fund its growth plan.

Last month, the company's board approved raising up to ₹6,000 crore through the issue of securities.

In a regulatory filing, Godrej Properties informed that the QIP Placement Committee authorized the opening of the issue on November 27, 2024.

HDFC Bank: HDFC Bank's share price hit an all-time high on Thursday, November 28, as the private lender's market capitalisation topped ₹14 lakh crore for the first time.

Shares of HDFC Bank climbed to a record high of ₹1,836.10, reflecting an increase of 1.31% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) intraday. However, the stock pared gains and was trading 0.48% lower to ₹1,803.65 apiece at 12:48 a.m.

BEML Ltd: BEML shares were trading over 2% higher at ₹4,277.10 apiece on the BSE after the company announced that it has secured a contract worth ₹2,501 crore from Chennai Metro Rail.

The project involves the design, manufacture, supply, testing, commissioning, and personnel training, as well as a 15-year maintenance contract for standard gauge metro rolling stock (Electrical Multiple Units) and depot machinery & plant valued at around ₹2,501 crore.

LIC: Shares of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) were trading 1.55% higher at ₹930.50 apiece on the NSE amid reports that the insurer is in advanced discussions to acquire up to 50% of the stake in ManipalCigna Health Insurance, marking its strategic entry into the health insurance sector. 
“Both parties have signed a non-disclosure agreement and are progressing with talks for LIC to acquire approximately a 50% stake in the venture,” The Economic Times reported, citing sources.
