Renewable energy stocks traded in the positive territory on Tuesday, October 6. The NIFTY50 index gained 0.98% to 22,776, while SENSEX rose 0.95% to 73,067.

Adani Green Energy

Adani Green Energy shares surged 2.26% to ₹1,313 per unit on the NSE.

On October 1, the company through its various stepdown subsidiaries commercially operationalised an aggregate 481.9 MW renewable energy projects at Gujarat's Mundra and Khavda. It also operationalised an aggregate 3,081 MWh battery energy storage system projects at Khavda.

"With commissioning of this project, AGEL has achieved total operational renewable generation capacity of 20,762.70 MW and total operational BESS capacity of 6,632 MWh," the company said in an exchange filing.

Waaree Energies

Shares of Waaree Energies advanced 2.19% to ₹2,398 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The stock had hit its 52-week high of ₹3,718.80 per share on October 17, 2025, while its 52-week low of ₹2,301.10 apiece was recorded on October 1, 2026.

The scrip has gained 0.76% in the past week but declined 9% in a month. Year-to-date, it fell 19%.

ACME Solar Holdings

The scrip of ACME Solar Holdings settled at ₹448.20 per share, up 4.81%, on the NSE.

On Monday, the company, through its subsidiary, i.e., ACME Renewtech Pvt Ltd, commissioned an additional 66.68 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan's Bikaner district.

"The Commercial operation date (COD) for the same shall be October 07, 2026. With this, ACME Renewtech Private Limited has achieved a commissioned solar capacity of 133.36 MW out of 300 MW of the Hybrid Power Project. Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for this project has been signed with NTPC Limited," it said.

KPI Green Energy

KPI Green Energy shares saw an uptick of 1.54% to ₹326.80 per unit on the NSE.

On October 5, the firm said it incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, KPGC Three Pvt Ltd, to generate, store, transmit, distribute, purchase, sell and supply electricity and other forms of energy from conventional and renewable sources, including wind, solar, hydro, biomass and thermal energy, and to establish, own, develop, operate and maintain power plants and energy storage systems, and undertake activities incidental thereto.
