Adani Green Energy share price: Shares of Adani Green Energy advanced as much as 3.47% to ₹868.75 apiece on the NSE on Wednesday, March 25, after French multinational BNP Paribas on Tuesday bought 6.9 lakh shares of Adani Green Energy from Morgan Stanley for nearly ₹56 crore through open market transactions.

BNP Paribas, through its affiliate BNP Paribas Financial Markets, purchased 6,90,000 shares at an average price of ₹808.3 apiece, according to the block deal data on the BSE.

This took the transaction value to ₹55.78 crore.

Meanwhile, US-based Morgan Stanley, through its arm Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte, offloaded the same number of shares at the same price, as per the data.

Shares of Adani Green Energy ended 2.76% higher at ₹839 apiece on the NSE on Tuesday.

Adani Green Energy Q3 FY26 earnings

Adani Green Energy reported a nearly 98.94% decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹5 crore, mainly due to higher expenses.

The company had reported a consolidated net profit of ₹474 crore in the quarter ended December 2024, a regulatory filing showed.

Its total expenses in the quarter rose to ₹2,961 crore from ₹2,329 crore a year ago.

The finance costs jumped to ₹1,698 crore in the quarter from ₹1,251 crore logged in the year-ago period.

The total income rose to ₹2,837 crore in the quarter from ₹2,636 crore.

Adani Green Energy CEO Ashish Khanna, in a statement, said that in 2026, Adani Green Energy will continue its exceptional growth trajectory, adding 5.6 GW of renewable energy capacity, representing nearly 14% of all new solar and wind capacity installed across India.

This achievement further cements our position as the country's leading green energy provider, with our operational capacity now reaching 17.2 GW, Khanna added.
