Urban Company IPO allotment status is all set to be finalised on Monday, September 15, following a robust subscription during the bidding period.

The public offer secured bids for 11,06,44,73,965 shares, compared to 10,67,73,244 shares on offer. This translates to a total subscription of a whopping 103.63 times, according to BSE data.

The part reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was booked 140.20 times, while the non-institutional investors' (NIIs) quota was subscribed 74.04 times. The category set aside for retail individual investors received 39.25 times subscription.

The company moved to the capital markets to raise ₹1,900 crore by issuing new equity shares valued at ₹472 crore as well as an offer for sale of ₹1,428 crore.

Those selling their stake under the OFS include Accel India IV (Mauritius) Ltd, Elevation Capital V Ltd, Bessemer India Capital Holdings II Ltd, VYC11 Ltd and Internet Fund V Pte Ltd.

The fresh issue proceeds to the tune of ₹190 crore will be utilised for new technology development and cloud infrastructure, market activities, rent payment for its offices and corporate general purposes.

Urban Company runs a tech-driven, full-stack online services marketplace for various home and beauty categories.

It operates in 51 cities across India, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), excluding cities served by its joint venture (JV) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, of which 47 cities are in India, as of June 2025.
