Q4 Results Highlights: HCL Tech net profit up 8% YoY, revenue rises; board declares interim dividend of ₹18/share

  1. HCL Technologies Q4 Results: Key highlights

    • HCL Technologies posted an 8.05% YoY jump in its consolidated net profit ₹4,307 crore against ₹3,986 crore in the year-ago period.

    • The company's revenue from operations climbed 6.13% YoY to ₹30,246 crore as against ₹28,499 crore in the same period last year.

    • HCL Tech's board recommended an interim dividend of ₹18 per share. The record date for the dividend payment is set as April 28, 2025, while the payment will be made on May 6, 2025.

    • In dollar terms, the revenue of the company was at $3,498 million, down 1% QoQ but up 2% YoY.

    • HCL Tech earned 63.9% of its revenue from the Americas region, 29.2% from Europe and 6.9% from the rest of the world.

    • The financial services vertical contributed 21.1% to the company's revenue, followed by manufacturing (18.6%), life sciences and healthcare (14.7%), telecommunications, media, publishing, and entertainment (13.9%), technology and services (13.4%), retail and CPG (9.7%), and public services (8.6%).

    • The IT major's attrition rate, which assesses the employee retention and workforce stability of a company, stands at 13%, up from 12.4% in the year-ago period.

    • In FY26, the company’s revenue is expected to grow between 2 to 5% YoY in constant currency terms, as per HCL Tech's guidance. The services revenue of HCL Tech is expected to stand between 2 to 5% in FY26, while the EBIT margin could be between 18 to 19%.

    • The company's total contract value (TCV) of new deal wins was at $2,995 million in Q4 FY25 as compared to $9,268 million for the entire financial year 2024-25 (FY25).

    • HCL Technologies shares ended 0.14% down at ₹1,479.90 apiece on the NSE on Tuesday, April 22, ahead of its Q4 FY25 earnings announcement.

    Commenting on the Q4 FY25 results of the company, CEO and Managing Director C Vijayakumar said, “HCLTech grew the fastest among our peers for the second year in a row as we witnessed yet another year of disciplined execution. We delivered on our FY25 guidance with revenue growth of 4.7% in constant currency and an EBIT margin of 18.3%. HCL Software growth continues to accelerate as it grew 3.5% CC this year. During this quarter, our services business delivered healthy growth of 0.7% QoQ CC amidst volatile market conditions. We saw very strong new bookings of $3B this quarter catalysed by our AI propositions and integrated GTM organisation that was set up at the start of the fiscal year. The strength of our execution should present us good medium-term opportunities emerging out of global uncertainties while we navigate the short term cautiously."

    HCL Technologies, declaring its Q4 FY25 earnings on Tuesday, April 22, posted a 6% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) decline in its net profit to ₹4,307 crore as against ₹4,591 crore in Q3 FY25. The tech major's revenue, however, increased 1.2% YoY to ₹30,246 crore as compared to ₹29,890 crore in the December quarter.

    EBIT of the company was also down 6% QoQ at ₹6,482 crore from ₹6,860 crore posted in the third quarter of FY25. EBIT margin stood at 21.4% for the reporting quarter as against 19.5% in Q3 FY25.

  5. M&M Financial Services Q4 Results: Net profit down 31.8% to ₹457 crore

    M&M Financial Services on Tuesday posted a 31.8% decline in its net profit for the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q4 FY25) to ₹457 crore as against ₹670 crore in the year-ago period. The company's total income, however, was up 13% year-on-year at ₹4,897 crore. In Q4 FY24, its total income stood at ₹4,333 crore.

  6. Tata Communications Q4 Results: Key highlights

    On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, Tata Communications reported a 224% jump in its consolidated net profit to ₹1,040.34 crore for the March quarter (Q4 FY25) as compared to ₹321.18 crore in the year-ago period. The March 2025 quarter profit includes a one-time gain of ₹577.8 crore.

    Revenue from operations of the company stood at ₹5,990.35 crore in Q4 FY25, up 6.11% YoY from ₹5,645.07 crore in Q4 FY24. Its total income jumped 6.34% YoY to ₹6,059.15 crore.

    The company's board of directors recommended a final dividend of ₹25 per share (250%) with a face value of ₹10 each for the financial year 2024-25.

  7. Cyient DLM Q4 Results: Net profit up 37% YoY, revenue rises

    Announcing its Q4 FY25 earnings on Tuesday, April 22, Cyient DLM reported a 37% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its net profit to ₹31 crore against ₹22.7 crore in the year-ago period.

    Havells India on Tuesday, announcing its Q4 FY25 results, posted a 15.9% year-on-year (YoY) jump in its net profit for the reporting quarter to ₹518 crore against ₹447 crore in the year-ago period.

    The company's revenue jumped 20.2% YoY to ₹6,544 crore as compared to ₹5,442 crore posted in Q4 FY24.
