Q2 results today: The financial results of several key companies are scheduled to be announced on Thursday, October 17. Private lender Axis Bank, information technology (IT) giant Infosys, IT consulting services provider Wipro, electrical equipment manufacturer Havells India and Maggi instant noodles maker Nestle India, among others, will declare their earnings for the second quarter of the current fiscal year (Q2 FY25).

Axis Bank Q2 results preview: Slower loan growth and NIM contraction expected

Bajaj Auto Q2 net profit soars 9.1%

On Wednesday, Bajaj Auto reported a 9.1% year-on-year increase in standalone profit after tax to ₹2,005.04 crore for the second quarter ended September 2024 despite ₹211 tax impact. In the corresponding period last year, the company reported a PAT of ₹1.836.14 crore.

Revenue from operations grew 21.8% to ₹13,127.47 crore, compared with ₹10,777.27 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
