Q1 results: Many companies will report their financial earnings for the first quarter of this fiscal year on Thursday, July 31. They include FMCG giant Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), drug maker Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, car maker Maruti Suzuki India, Gautam Adani-led Adani Enterprises, coal producer Coal India, mining major Vedanta, grey cement producer Ambuja Cements, Royal Enfield maker Eicher Motors, two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company, and NBFC Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company.
On-demand convenience platform Swiggy, consumer goods player Dabur India, pharmaceutical company Mankind Pharma, power producer JSW Energy, Policy Bazaar operator PB Fintech, engineering conglomerate Thermax, liquor maker Radico Khaitan, grooming products manufacturer Gillette India, healthcare solutions provider Inventurus Knowledge Solutions, diagnostic chain Dr Lal PathLabs, wire and cable manufacturer RR Kabel, and health insurer Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company, among others, will also release their earnings on July 31.

On Wednesday, automobile maker Mahindra & Mahindra recorded a 24% increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹4,083 crore for the latest June quarter, compared to ₹3,283 crore a year back.

Revenue from operations climbed 23% to ₹45,436 crore as against ₹37,010 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
