Bharti Airtel Q4 results: The country's second-largest telecom company, Bharti Airtel, on Wednesday, May 13, reported its earnings for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q4 FY26), posting a 33.54% year-on-year (YoY) drop in its consolidated net profit to ₹7,325.1 crore.

In the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, it had logged a profit of ₹11,021.8 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

However, its revenue from operations advanced 15.68% YoY to 55,383.2 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹47,876.2 crore in the March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).

Its top-line grew on the back of sustained growth in India and robust performance in Africa.

Its India business posted a 7.7% YoY surge in its revenue to ₹39,566 crore, driven by continued focus on portfolio premiumisation within the Mobile segment, strong growth momentum in the Homes segment, and consistent delivery by Airtel Business.

Its India mobile revenue was up 8.3% YoY, supported by higher average revenue per user (ARPU) and strong growth in smartphone data customers.

The Delhi-based company's ARPU increased by 5% YoY to ₹257 for Q4 FY26 from ₹245 in the year-ago period.

The firm’s Homes business recorded a YoY revenue growth of 37.3%, with net customer additions continuing to be strong at 1,135 thousand as Bharti Airtel deepened its “Wifi footprint across the regions”.

At an operational level, its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), also known as operating profit, stood at ₹32,038.2 crore, marking a 16.9% YoY increase from ₹27,404.3 crore in the March FY26 quarter. Its EBITDA margin expanded to 57.8% from 57.2% YoY.

Bharti Airtel’s total customer base stood at 66.6 crore across 15 countries during the quarter under review, with its India customer base at 48.2 crore and Africa at 18.4 crore.

Final dividend

The board of directors of Bharti Airtel also considered and recommended a final dividend of ₹24 per share, fully paid-up equity share with a face value of ₹5 each.

It also recommended a dividend of ₹6 per partly paid-up equity share, with a face value of ₹5 each (paid-up value ₹1.25 per share) on which call money remains unpaid. The dividend is in proportion to the amount paid-up on each equity share of face value ₹5 each.

Bharti Airtel has a total market capitalisation of ₹10.85 lakh crore as of May 13, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
