Adani Green Q1 results: Renewable energy player Adani Green Energy on Wednesday, July 22, reported its earnings for the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27).

The company reported a 19.30% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹983 crore during the quarter under review, compared with ₹824 crore in the April-June quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).

Its revenue from operations in the June quarter FY27 increased by 16.6% YoY to ₹4,431 crore, as against ₹3,800 crore in the year-ago period.

At an operational level, its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), also known as operating profit, stood at ₹3,985 crore during the quarter, reflecting a 9.88% YoY increase from ₹3,042 crore in the June quarter of FY26.

Its EBITDA margin expanded to 90% in Q1 FY27, from 80% in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The firm’s operational capacity grew 27% YoY to 20,142 megawatts (MW), with greenfield addition of 4,327 MW. The capacity addition during the quarter was 848 MW.

Its energy sales surged 30% YoY to 13,657 million units, compated with 10,479 million units in the year-ago period, benefitting from strong capacity addition growth.

Segment-wise highlights

Its revenue from the power supply segment jumped 29.2% YoY to ₹4,280 crore for the reporting quarter from ₹3,800 crore in Q1 FY26.
However, the Adani Group recorded revenue of ₹43 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year in the sale of goods or equipment and related services segment, marking a fall from ₹429 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s EBITDA from the power supply segment advanced 33% YoY to ₹4,122 crore during the quarter, with the margin for the segment expanding to 93.7% from 92.8% YoY.

Adani Green Energy stock performance

Following the result announcement, shares of Adani Green Energy closed 4.51% lower at ₹1,472.30 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, July 22.

The scrip has fallen 5% both in the past week and over the month. However, on a year-to-date basis, it has gained 43%.

While the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹1,631.50 per equity share on July 14, 2026, it touched a year’s low of ₹765 apiece on January 23, 2026.
