WhiteOak Capital scraps exit load on equity and hybrid funds: What it means for mutual fund investors

WhiteOak Capital Asset Management Limited announced a revision in the exit load structure across its mutual fund offerings. Effective April 27, 2026, the fund house will implement a NIL exit load on fresh purchases in its equity and hybrid schemes.

The change allows investors to redeem investments in these schemes without incurring exit load charges.

Aashish Somaiyaa, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We have decided to make all our equity and hybrid funds NO LOAD. Given the changes to short-term and long-term capital gains taxes over the years, which act as a sufficient deterrent against churn, we see no reason to add further to the cost of investing by imposing exit loads; as such, there remains no significant relevance of exit loads now.”

Ramesh Mantri, Chief Investment Officer, said: “Removing exit loads allows investors to respond to real-life needs and market opportunities without worrying about incremental costs.”

The removal of exit loads will apply across all equity and hybrid schemes managed by the company. However, this change will not apply to liquid funds and arbitrage funds, where the existing exit load structure will continue.

List of schemes (Revised Exit Load: NIL)

The revised exit load (NIL) will apply to the following schemes (for fresh purchases):

  • WhiteOak Capital Flexi Cap Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Mid Cap Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Large Cap Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Multi Cap Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Large & Mid Cap Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Banking & Financial Services Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Pharma and Healthcare Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Special Opportunities Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital ESG Best-In-Class Strategy Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Digital Bharat Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Quality Equity Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Consumption Opportunities Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Balanced Advantage Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Multi Asset Allocation Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Balanced Hybrid Fund

  • WhiteOak Capital Equity Savings Fund

The revised NIL exit load applies only to fresh purchases from April 27, 2026

Existing investments will continue under the exit load structure applicable at the time of investment
