In June, several flexi cap mutual funds altered their portfolios, adding new investments in industries like technology, finance, infrastructure, and pharmaceuticals while selling off some assets.

According to portfolio disclosures, ICICI Prudential Flexi Cap Fund, SBI Flexicap Fund, Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund, and HDFC Flexi Cap Fund all changed their holdings throughout the course of the month. Here's a look at the key additions and exits.

HDFC Flexi Cap Fund

HDFC Flexi Cap Fund added four stocks to its portfolio during June:

  • Craftsman Automation

  • JSW Infrastructure

  • Acme Solar Holdings

  • CORONA Remedies

The fund exited Ramco Systems during the month.

ICICI Prudential Flexi Cap Fund

ICICI Prudential Flexi Cap Fund made three fresh additions:

  • Lenskart Solutions

  • Sedemac Mechatronics

  • PB Fintech

The fund exited Zydus Lifesciences.

SBI Flexicap Fund

SBI Flexicap Fund added the following stocks:

  • Coforge

  • JSW Infrastructure

  • FSN E-Commerce Ventures (Nykaa)

The fund exited several holdings, including:

  • Vedanta

  • Asian Paints

  • NTPC

  • Sheela Foam

  • Jubilant FoodWorks

  • Aavas Financiers

  • Vedanta Power

  • Vedanta Iron and Steel

Portfolio changes are a regular part of mutual fund management and reflect the fund manager's investment decisions based on valuations, earnings outlook and sector preferences.

Meanwhile, equity-oriented mutual fund schemes witnessed a net inflow of Rs 28,973 crore in June, a sharp surge of 26 per cent from the preceding month, amid volatile market conditions, according to data released by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (Amfi) on Friday.

Within the equity category, midcap funds garnered Rs 6,090 crore the highest inflow during the month, followed by small cap funds at Rs 5,602 crore and flexi cap funds at Rs 5,231 crore. Large cap funds received an inflow of Rs 2,067 crore.
