The cards are being introduced under an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PNB and the Indian Army.

PNB LUXURA metal and PNB Parakram credit cards are set to offer serving personnel of the Indian Army a specially curated range of financial, travel and lifestyle benefits under an exclusive partnership between Punjab National Bank (PNB) and the Indian Army.

Designed for different categories of Army personnel, the PNB LUXURA Metal credit card is aimed at Army Officers, while the PNB Parakram credit card is designed for JCOs and Other Ranks (OR). The cards bring together everyday financial benefits and lifestyle privileges, with features aimed at providing greater value and convenience to the Armed Forces community.

Key benefits include 3% cashback on Canteen Stores Department (CSD) purchases, complimentary domestic and international lounge access, zero forex markup, movie benefits, complimentary golf lessons and other reward and lifestyle privileges. The PNB Parakram Credit Card also features a biodegradable card design, reflecting PNB’s focus on responsible innovation.

The cards are being introduced under an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PNB and the Indian Army, further strengthening the bank’s long-standing association with the Armed Forces.

The MoU was signed at the Indian Army Headquarters in New Delhi by Maj Gen VK Purohit, AVSM, YSM, SM, on behalf of the Indian Army, and Shri Deepak Kumar, General Manager, Public Relations & Credit Card Division, on behalf of PNB.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Lt Gen Viresh Pratap Singh Kaushik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM, SM, AG, DG MP & PS; Lt Gen Rajeev Puri, AVSM, VSM; Shri Ashok Chandra, MD & CEO, PNB; and Maj Gen Dinesh Singh Bisht (Retd.), Chief Defence Banking Advisor, along with senior PNB officials.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ashok Chandra, MD & CEO, PNB, said, “PNB shares a deep-rooted association with the Indian Armed Forces, built on mutual trust, respect and a shared commitment to the nation.
