Steps to submit a Life certificate without being trapped

1.Use only authorised digital platforms
  • Submit your DLC only through the official Jeevan Pramaan Portal (https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in), the Post Office App, or the Aadhaar Face RD Application.
  • Avoid sharing details or using services offered by unauthorised agents or unverified apps/websites.

2. Secure your Aadhaar number and pension-related data
  • Never share your Aadhaar number, OTP, bank account details, PPO number, or mobile number with unknown individuals.

  • Always protect these details from misuse or unauthorised access.

3. Beware of fraud calls and messages
  • The Government will never ask for your password, OTP, or bank PIN via call or email.

  • Verify the authenticity of any communication that claims to be from a government agency before responding.

4. Keep your devices and internet secure
  • Ensure that your mobile phone or computer is updated with the latest security patches and antivirus software.

  • Always use a secure Wi-Fi or mobile data connection while submitting your annual life certificate.

5. Report any suspicious activity immediately
In case of any fraud attempt or data misuse, report it without delay to your bank or to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at https://cybercrime.gov.in
Pensioners are requested to submit their Digital Life Certificate (DLC) before 30 November 2025 using authorised and secure methods.
