How to log in to NPS Central

PFRDA aims to integrate NPS Central with existing digital touchpoints and other participants in the NPS ecosystem, including pension funds and Points of Presence (PoPs), to make services more accessible to subscribers.

Called NPS Central, the platform brings together services offered by the three Central Recordkeeping Agencies (CRAs) under the NPS ecosystem, allowing subscribers to access key pension-related information through a single interface.

Launched on October 1 on the occasion of NPS Diwas, the platform has been jointly developed and is managed by the three CRAs, the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) said.

Here are 5 key things abpout NPS Central

1. NPS Central: How to log in

  • Log in with mobile number, date of birth

  • Subscribers can log in using their registered mobile number and date of birth, followed by one-time password (OTP) authentication.

Once logged in, users can access a personalised dashboard displaying their retirement corpus, total contributions, investment earnings and recent account activity.

2. Track pension corpus and investment returns

The dashboard provides details of the subscriber's pension holdings, including the current value of investments, scheme-wise net asset values (NAVs), balance units and returns.

It also displays recent transactions, including contributions, account charges and switches between investment schemes, offering subscribers a consolidated view of their pension account.

3. Compare schemes before investing

NPS Central allows subscribers to contribute to schemes they already hold or explore other investment options offered by different pension fund managers.

Users can browse scheme details, compare reported returns and examine asset allocations across equity, corporate bonds and government securities. The platform also displays investment management fees for listed schemes.

A risk-based discovery feature helps users explore schemes according to their investment preferences, while lifecycle fund options show indicative asset allocations based on age.

4. Pension statements, orders and calculators

The platform also provides access to pension statements, orders and pension calculators, bringing several pension-related services together in one place.

PFRDA aims to integrate NPS Central with existing digital touchpoints and other participants in the NPS ecosystem, including pension funds and Points of Presence (PoPs), to make services more accessible to subscribers.

5. NPS Swasthya registration also available

The platform facilitates registration for NPS Swasthya, which combines a dedicated investment corpus with a super top-up health insurance arrangement.

The initiative is part of the regulator's broader effort to create a more integrated, accessible and subscriber-centric digital pension ecosystem.
