Silver Rate Today, June 1: What is the price of 1 kg 999 silver in your city?

Silver prices remained steady for the third consecutive today on June 1, 2026 (Monday). Earlier last week, silver price declined by ₹ 10,000 per kg on Thursday and recouped some of the losses on Friday by surging by ₹ 5,000 per kg.

According to Goodreturns.in, the precious white metal today was priced at ₹ 2.8 lakh per kg.

On the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) website at around 1:30 pm (IST), silver 999 traded at ₹2,62,9000 per kg, while it quoted at ₹2,63,350 per kg yesterday on May 29.

Factors influencing silver rate today

After rising in early trade, silver July futures at around 1:35 pm (IST) traded with a negative bias, down by a tad 0.07% or ₹198 at ₹ 2,66,800 per kg. The contract's day high and low prices are ₹ 2,68,093 and ₹ 2,65,513 per kg, respectively.

Prices were little changed as uncertainty persisted over a ceasefire extension in the Middle East that could reopen the Strait of Hormuz and ease concerns over inflation.

Silver price since the US-Iran war has been highly volatile as investors reportedly moved their funds in US dollar-backed assets, taking shelter in them amid heightened geo-political crisis.

Analysts expect white metal price to trade range-bound to slightly higher for the day on the bourses.
