Silver Rate Today, April 24: How much you have to pay for silver across major cities

Silver prices in rhe rerail market have remained steady even as prices have changed internationally.

On Friday (April 24, 2026), the price of silver is quoting at ₹2,77,000 per kg. In 10 days, the price of silver has declined by Rs 1000 per 100 gm.

Why silver prices fell today?

Silver prices in today's session are again in downtrend, declining for the second-straight day on the MCX today. The geo-politiical worries around the fate of the US-Iran war, in the backdrop of the extended ceasefire, continue to weigh on bullion prices.

Lebanon and Israel extended the ceasefire for 3-weeks post a meeting, U.S. President Donald ⁠Trump said ‌on Thursday.

Trump told reporters that he believes that Tehran wished to get into a deal. Further he said, that he was in no hurry to crack a deal, nonetheless, if Iran does not wants once, "I'll finish it up militarily."

Meanwhile, as gold is on course of its weekly drop, amid rising crude and fear of a higher-for-longer interest rate regime, silver also is seen moving southward.

On the MCX., silver May futures after dropping to ₹2.4 lakh levels in intraday deal, once again recouped some of the losses and last at the time of writing this copy at around 12 pm was down 0.42% at ₹240495 per kg. In intraday deal, it touched a high of over ₹2.41 lakh.
