BSE SENSEX settled above historic 84,000-mark on Friday, September 20. NSE NIFTY50 also hit an all-time closing high of 25,790. In the NIFTY50 space, 44 stocks advanced. Mahindra and Mahindra, ICICI Bank and JSW Steel were top gainers.

The Indian Hotels Company Ltd, promoters of iconic Taj brand of hotels, would introduce two green field projects in Tamil Nadu, the company said on Friday.

The company would develop 150-rooms Vivanta and 200-keys Ginger brand hotels on a 3-acre land in Hosur in the state.

Reliance Infrastructure on Thursday said its board of directors has approved raising of Rs₹3,014 crore by preferential issue of up to 12.56 crore equity shares. Following the development, the company's shares rose 9.3%.

Benchmark indices traded higher on Friday, with NIFTY50 gaining 0.21% and SENSEX up 140 points. In the NIFTY50 space, 34 stocks advanced. JSW Steel, Hindalco, and HDFC Life were among the top gainers.
