Defence technology solutions provider Zen Technology shares rallied 5% to hit upper circuit limit of ₹1360.95 apiece on the NSE on Monday, July 15, after the company announced the launch of four new products for global defence markets.

In a filing to the stock exchanges on Monday, the leading anti-drone technology and defence training solutions provider said that it has launched four new products in collaboration with its Pune-based subsidiary, AI Turing Technologies.

“These IP-owned innovations – Hawkeye, Barbarik-URCWS (Ultralight Remote Control Weapon Station), Prahasta and Sthir Stab 640 – cater to a wide range of defence requirements, empowering forces with unmatched tactical superiority and enhanced operational efficiency,” Zen Technologies said in a release.

Zen Technologies shares opened higher at ₹1,350 apiece on the NSE and rallied further to hit the 5% upper circuit limit at ₹1,360.95 apiece. However, the stock trimmed some of the gains in morning trade to hit an intraday low of ₹1,332 apiece but bounced strongly in the afternoon trade. The stock has returned to the green after six days of consecutive falls.

Among the newly launched products, Hawkeye features multiple sensor detection modules for all-weather drone tracking up to 15 km. Its anti-drone system camera ensures continuous threat detection and enhanced security.

Barbarik-URCWS minimises personal risk and maximises battlefield effectiveness with its remote-controlled weapon station features which offer precise targeting capabilities (5.56mm to 7.62mm calibers) for ground vehicles and naval vessels.

Prahasta creates real-time 3D terrain mapping for unparalleled mission planning, navigation, and threat assessment. The quadruped can be armed with various calibre weapons like 9mm, 5.56mm, and 7.62. It is an automated quadruped that uses LIDAR and reinforcement learning and can be used as the first line of defence for commandos during CI operations.

Sthir Stab 640 is a rugged stabilised sight designed mainly for armored vehicles, ICVs, and boats. It encompasses an intelligent fibre optic gyro-stabilised system and delivers exceptional situational awareness with automatic search and tracking capabilities. The sight can be used in different weapon mounts, such as 7.62mm, 12.7mm, 20mm, and 30mm.

Commenting on these innovations, Ashok Atluri, Chairman and Managing Director of Zen Technologies said that the launch of the new products will raise awareness around the need to integrate advanced robotics into combat and reconnaissance missions.
