Wipro Partners with CrowdStrike to Deliver AI-Powered Unified Security Services

Shares of Wipro will be in focus on Tuesday’s trade after the company announced a partnership with CrowdStrike for an AI-powered unified managed security service. The shares closed 0.2% lower on Monday.

Wipro, a leading AI-powered technology services and consulting company, today announced an expanded partnership with CrowdStrike to launch Wipro CyberShieldSM MDR, an AI-powered unified managed security service (MSS) that simplifies and strengthens enterprise security operations. CyberShield MDR delivers industry-leading capabilities through a modern SOC that provides enhanced visibility, AI-driven automation, and greater efficiency.

Organisations today face an overwhelming volume of alerts from siloed security tools that fail to stop adversaries. Fragmented security operations across endpoints, cloud workloads, identity, and data drive complexity, increase costs, and create operational blind spots. Wipro CyberShield MDR, powered by CrowdStrike Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM, addresses these challenges by enhancing threat visibility, simplifying operations, and strengthening resilience against evolving threats.

Earlier in July, the company completed its generative AI agent-building initiative with Google Cloud, delivering 200 production-ready AI agents across Healthcare, Banking, Insurance, Retail, Manufacturing, and IT industries. This is another step in the long-standing collaboration between Wipro and Google, enabling joint clients to tap into the full potential of AI agents.

The initiative with Google is focused on developing intelligent agents that enhance customer experience, improve business processes across industries, and unlock new opportunities for innovation. In the quarter gone by, the company’s revenue stood at ₹22,135 crore as compared to ₹21,963 crore in the previous year's similar quarter. The net profit of the company jumped nearly 10% to ₹3,331 crore, as against ₹3,041 crore.

On a yearly basis, the shares of the company have delivered negative returns at 5.1% and trade nearly 13% down on a YTD basis. IT stocks are back in focus after India-US trade negotiations are back on track. The interest rate cuts could further boost the outlook for Indian IT companies.
