Wipro said that the collaboration aims to significantly accelerate the development, testing, and validation of automotive software, leading to higher efficiency and quality, and faster innovation within the automotive sector.

The firm said that the collaboration will significantly simplify the software development process, accelerate time-to-market, and enhance the overall quality and dependability of automotive software by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and virtualisation.

Swarup Mandal, general manager and Global Head Automotive Wipro Engineering Edge said by combining Siemens' PAVE360 technologies with its Cloud Car offerings, the firm will provide an AI-powered Virtual Vehicle Validation Platform, which enables its customers to develop SDV efficiently.

Wipro also announced a strategic collaboration with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE) to launch a generative AI (GenAI) solution within the company’s new Customer Experience Center (CEC) to serve customers globally.

The firm said that the solution will leverage Wipro's Smart Operations platform and HPE Machine Learning Development Environment to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

The collaboration also aims to reduce the mean time to resolution for GenAI applications, reduce the inflow of incidents, increase overall equipment efficiency, and reduce the process cycle time.

It will benefit industries heavily reliant on customer service, IT support, and operations such as financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors, the firm said. The solution will provide clients with the flexibility to select from a diverse range of large language models (LLMs), depending on their unique business needs.

Shares of the company have risen by nearly 0.41% since the beginning of the year. The stock has gained nearly 21% in the last one year.
