Vikram Solar share price: Shares of leading solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer Vikram Solar skyrocketed on Monday, September 8, after it secured a major order from L&T Construction.

In an exchange filing, the company said that it will supply 336 MW of advanced Hypersol G12R solar modules, based on N-type technology. These modules will be deployed in Gujarat's Khavda.

This latest mobile offers improved bifaciality of up to 80%, better high-temperature performance and lower year-on-year degradation (≤0.4%).

The timeline for delivery of this domestic order is from November 2025 to March 2026.

Vikram Solar share price: Here's how the stock has performed since IPO

Vikram Solar shares were trading 6.32% higher at ₹343.25 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday, September 8, at 9:31 am.

At the current price, the stock is trading 3.38% higher than its IPO issue price of ₹332 a unit.

The stock had debuted at ₹338 apiece on August 26, reflecting a premium of 1.81% over the issue price.

With a price band of ₹315 to ₹332 per share, the ₹2,079.37 crore Vikram Solar IPO was a mix of a fresh issue valued at ₹1,500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹579.37 crore. The price range was set at ₹315 to ₹332 per share.

The initial share sale was subscibed 54.63 times, with bids for 2,47,81,57,965 shares as against 4,53,61,650 shares on offer. Before the IPO, the company had collected ₹621 crore from anchor investors.

Vikram Solar is among the leading Indian solar module manufacturers, specialising in PV module manufacturing, with an international presence across 39 countries. It has a cumulative production capacity of 4.5 GW.
