Vadilal Industries shares hit record high on strong Q1 earnings; check dividend details for FY27

Vadilal Industries shares jumped 9.2% to hit an all-time high level of ₹8,447 apiece on Thursday, August 13, after the company’s June quarter earnings boosted investors' sentiment.

The dairy products firm reported a 96% jump in consolidated net profit at ₹131 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year (Q1 FY27) as compared to ₹67 crore in the same period last year.

The Ahmedabad-headquartered company’s revenue from operations increased 34% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹680 crore in the April-June period, up from ₹507 crore in the year-ago period.

For Q1 FY27, the consolidated total income came in at ₹707 crore, rising 39% from ₹510 crore on an annual basis, marking a strong start to the fiscal year.

The company reported strong operational performance as its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 52% annually to ₹165 crore as against ₹109 crore in Q1 FY26.

Its operating profit margin also expanded to 24.32% in contrast to 21.5% on a yearly basis.

Dividend details

Along with the earnings, Vadilal’s board of directors also approved and declared an interim dividend of ₹17 per equity share of 10 each fully paid-up capital of the company for FY27. The firm has set a record date of August 21, 2026, to determine the members eligible to receive the interim dividend.

The company, in a regulatory filing, said that it will hold the 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 10, 2026.

The book closure period will be from September 4 to September 10, 2026, while September 3, 2026, has been fixed as the cut-off date (record date).

Vadilal Industries share price trends

After opening at ₹7,246.50 apiece, the stock had hit its record high of ₹8,447 per share on Thursday. At 10:40 AM, Vadilal Industries shares were trading at ₹7,870.5 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, soaring 8.61%.

From the beginning of the year, Vadilal Industries shares have jumped 60%. Over a month’s time, the stock has gained 22%, while for a six-month period, it has climbed 53%.

Founded in 1907, Vadilal Industries is one of India's oldest and largest ice cream and processed food brands. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, it traces its roots back to a small soda fountain. The brand offers over 150 flavours and exports its products to more than 45 countries worldwide.

According to NSE data, as of August 13, 2026, Vadilal Industries has a total market capitalisation of ₹5,615.85 crore.
