TVS Motors share price jumps 3% on 47% YoY jump in monthly sales

Shares of TVS Motor jumped over 2.5% on Thursday morning after the company announced robust monthly sales numbers for June. The company’s overall sales increased 47% YoY. The shares reached an intraday high of ₹3,600 apiece on the NSE.

The company’s exchange filing read: “TVS Motor Company (TVSM), part of TVS VENU, registered its highest-ever quarterly sales of 16.31 lakh units during the first quarter of FY2026-27. Two-wheelers registered a growth of 27% with sales of 15.64 lakh units in the first quarter of FY2026-27, as against 12.32 lakh units in the first quarter of FY2025-26. Three-wheelers registered a growth of 48% with sales of 0.67 lakh units in the first quarter of FY2026-27, as against 0.45 lakh units in the first quarter of FY2025-26. Total international business registered a growth of 33% with sales of 4.68 lakh units in the first quarter of FY2026-27, as against 3.52 lakh units in the first quarter of FY2025-26.

At the segmental level, the two-wheeler segment grew by 47% YoY to 5.65 lakh units, compared to 3.85 lakh units in the same month of the previous year. The majority of the growth was driven by domestic sales, which grew 46% during the same period to 4.11 lakh units.

The electric vehicle segment recorded multifold growth, with monthly sales for June at 48,537 units compared to 14,400 units in the previous year. Similarly, the three-wheeler segment also posted a growth of 51% YoY with 24,586 units, as against 16,303 units in the previous year.”

The international business registered a sales growth of 47% with sales of 172,355 units in June 2026, as against 117,145 units in June 2025. Two-wheeler sales registered a growth of 48% with sales of 154,403 units in June 2026, as against 104,686 units in June 2025.
