Top gainers and losers on January 13: Trent, Larsen & Toubro, Dr Reddy's Labs shares fall over 2.2%; check full list

The Indian equity benchmarks resumed their downward journey after a day's pause in the previous session. The SENSEX fell as much as 615 points and NIFTY50 index touched an intraday low of 25,603 dragged down by losses in index heavyweights like Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, Bharti Airtel, ITC, Axis Bank and Trent.

The benchmarks, however, staged recovery in the second half of the session on the back of buying interest in Eternal, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and Tata Consultancy Services.

The SENSEX ended 250 points lower at 83,628 and NIFTY50 index declined 58 points to 25,732.

NIFTY50 top gainers and losers

Trent was top loser in the NIFTY50 index, the stock declined 3.71% to close at ₹3,906. Larsen & Toubro (-3.21%), Dr Reddy's Labs (-2.27%), IndiGo (-1.99%) and Reliance Industries (-1.77%) were also among the losers.

On the flipside, ONGC (3.3%), Eternal (3.16%), ICICI Bank (1.66%), Max Healthcare (1.61%) and Tech Mahindra (1.6%) were top gainers in the NIFTY50 index.

NIFTY Midcap 100 top gainers and losers

NIFTY Midcap 100 index declined 0.2% or 119 points to close at 59,598. As many as 58 shares ended lower while 42 closed higher.

Dixon Technologies was top loser in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index, the stock fell 5% to close at ₹11,248. Vodafone Idea (-3.82%), AU Small Finance Bank (-3.6%), L&T Finance (-3.01%) and Godrej Properties (-2.95%) were also among laggards in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index.

On the other hand, Oil India (5.62%), Motilal Oswal (5.23%), Godfrey Phillips (3.63%), M&M Financial Services (2.52%) and Coromandel International (2%) were top gainers in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index.

NIFTY Smallcap 100 top gainers and losers

NIFTY Smallcap 100 index advanced 0.6% or 102 points to close at 17,296. As many as 60 shares ended higher while 40 closed lower.

Manappuram Finance was top gainer in the NIFTY Smallcap 100 index, the stock advanced 4.35% to close at ₹307. Radico Khaitan (3.75%), Navin Fluorine (3.4%), Firstsource Solutions and MRPL were also among top gainers in the NIFTY Smallcap 100 index.

On the contrary, Neuland Labs (-2.77%), Aegis Logistics (-2.57%), HBL Engineering (-2.46%), Zen Technologies (-2.44%) and Whirlpool (-2.34%) were top losers in the NIFTY Smallcap 100 index.
