Tech Mahindra was the biggest contributor, surging 4.75% ahead of its September quarter earnings. The IT major is expected to report decent growth in revenue and net profit for Q2 FY27, aided by new deal wins.

Growth is likely to be supported by the ramp-up of new deals and strong demand from the BFSI and retail verticals. The company reported a net profit of ₹1,465 crore in the previous quarter and ₹1,194 crore in the same quarter last year.
