Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd

Shakti Pumps (India) locked in the 5% upper circuit limit at ₹1,119.50 in the early morning session on Friday. On December 14, the company reported that it had invested ₹4 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary Shakti Energy Solutions Private Limited by subscribing equity shares of face value ₹1 each. The funds will be used to expand the business of Manufacturer Solar Structures. SESPL's turnover for FY24 was ₹139.59 crore.

Recently, the company reported receiving a Letter of Empanelment from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for 25,000 Stand-alone Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) pumps for the entire state of Maharashtra under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Scheme. The total value of the 25,000 pumps is around ₹754.30 crore (including GST). The contract will be executed within 60 days of issuing the NTP/work order or JSR approval from the circle office.

As of September 30, 2024, the company's order book stood at ₹1,800 crore. Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of pumps and motors of various kinds. It also offers advanced water pumping solutions for irrigation, horticulture, domestic water supply, and commercial and industrial applications. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹13,400 crore.

Transformers & Rectifiers Ltd

Shares of Transformers and Rectifiers hit the 5% upper circuit limit at ₹1,123.70 in the early morning session on Friday. The company reported that the trading window for dealing in its securities remains closed from January 1, 2025, until 48 hours after declaring its Unaudited Standalone and Consolidated Financial Results for the quarter and nine months ending December 31, 2024. The date of the Board Meeting will be intimated in due course.

Q2 FY25 standalone revenue reached ₹457 crore, a 75% year-on-year increase. H1 FY25 revenue totalled ₹773 crores, marking an 86% increase compared to H1 FY24. EBITDA for Q2 FY25 was ₹76 crores, a 236% rise year-on-year, with an operational EBITDA margin of 16.53%. Profit after tax (PAT) for Q2 FY25 stood at ₹42.18 crores, reflecting a 1,272% year-on-year increase. As of September 30, 2024, the total order book is ₹3,500 crore, with ₹1,700 crore of new orders secured in the last quarter.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd manufactures Power, Furnace and Rectifier Transformers. The world’s First 420 kV ester fluid-filled shunt reactor was successfully designed and manufactured at TRIL. It has a market capitalisation of ₹16,700 crore.

GMR Power & Urban Infra Ltd

GMR Power & Urban Infra stock locked in the 5% upper circuit at ₹109.64 in the early morning session of Friday.

GMR Power and Urban Infra Limited (GPUIL), a subsidiary of GEPL, has expertise in energy, urban infrastructure, and transportation. It has a market capitalisation of ₹7,800 crore.
