Tejas Networks shares jump 13% on receiving ₹1,537 crore order from TCS; check order book, other details

Tejas Networks shares soared as much as 13% to an intraday high of ₹576.85 apiece on Friday, August 28, a day after the company said it has received an order from the Indian IT services giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

The domestic telecom gear maker has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from TCS for the supply of RAN equipment, accessories and installation materials. The order covers 18,685 sites for BSNL’s 4G mobile network and is valued at ₹1,537 crore.

“The detailed Purchase Order for the same would be issued by TCS to the company in due course,” Tejas Networks said in a regulatory filing.

By the end of Q1 FY27, the company’s order book stood at ₹1,529 crore. Tejas Networks’ closing order book in Q1 comprised 93% from India and 7% from international markets.

In an investors’ presentation, Tejas Networks had said that it is awaiting an expansion order for 26,000 additional 4G sites using its RAN products on BSNL’s pan-India network, against the Letter of Intent (LOI) received.

Tejas Networks Q1 FY27 earnings

The company had reported a net loss of ₹202 crore in the June quarter of financial year 2026-27 (Q1 FY27) as compared to a net loss of ₹194 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Its consolidated revenue increased 99% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹402 crore in the reporting quarter as against ₹202 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The company’s Q1 revenue was driven by international shipments of 5G radios and domestic shipments of 100G/400G optical and FTTx products.

At the operating level, Tejas Networks reported an earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) loss of ₹100 crore in Q1 FY27, narrowing from an EBITDA loss of ₹136 crore in the year-ago period.

The firm’s net debt was ₹4,277 crore, while the gross debt stood at ₹4,866 crore.

At 10:09 AM, Tejas Networks shares were trading at ₹569.85 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, rising 11.48%.

From the beginning of the year, Tejas Networks shares have jumped 13%. Over a month’s time, the stock has slipped 0.5%, while for a six-month period, it has climbed 17%.

Shares of the firm had hit a 52-week high of ₹644.75 on June 19, 2026, and a 52-week low of ₹294 on January 27, 2026.

According to NSE data, as of August 27, 2026, Tejas Networks has a total market capitalisation of ₹9,088.24 crore.
