Tata Investment Q1: Shares of Tata Investment Corporation (TICL) gained as much as 1.3% to ₹6,871 apiece on the NSE on Monday, August 4. The non-banking financial company (NBFC) is slated to release its financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26) today.

However, minutes later the stock slipped into the negative territory and was trading flat.

The company's Board of Directors, at the said meeting, will also consider the proposal for alteration in the share capital of the company by way of subdivision/split of the existing equity shares of the face value of ₹10 each, fully paid-up.

Tata Investment Corporation Limited was promoted by Tata Sons Pvt Ltd. in 1937 under the name The Investment Corporation of India Limited.

The company remained a closely held company till 1959, when it became one of the few publicly held investment companies listed on the stock exchange in Mumbai.

Tata Capital and its subsidiaries are engaged in providing/supplying a wide array of services/products in the financial services sector and operate across various areas of business: commercial finance, consumer loans, wealth services, and distribution and marketing of Tata Cards.

Tata Investment Q4 FY25 Results

Tata Investment Corporation (TICL) on April 21 announced its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q3 FY25), and for the full fiscal year FY24-25.

The company's board also recommended a dividend of ₹27 (270%) per ordinary share of ₹10 each, which shall be paid after the annual general meeting (AGM), subject to approval of the shareholders of the company at the ensuing AGM.

As regards quarterly numbers, the Tata Group company reported a net profit of ₹37.72 crore on a consolidated basis, down 37.62% YoY from ₹60.47 crore logged in the year-ago period.

On a sequential basis, however, the figure grew by 92%.

For the fiscal year 2025, net profit stood at ₹312.09 crore, down 18.9% against ₹384.96 crore registered in the previous fiscal year.

Total revenue from operations in the March quarter came in at ₹16.43 crore, down 71.2% as opposed to ₹57.11 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Total expenses of the company were ₹10.02 crore in the March quarter against ₹8.08 crore in Q3 FY25 and ₹9.48 crore in Q4 FY24.

Earnings per share (EPS) (basic/diluted) came in at ₹7.46 during Q4 FY25 against ₹11.95 in Q3 FY25 and ₹3.88 in the March 2024 quarter.
